Fulham Football Club is a professional english Premier League club, who play their matches at Craven Cottage in London

Fulham is the oldest club in London.

Fulham was founded in 1879 by Andy Scott, later topscorer in multiple seasons for the club. They started playing in Southern League of Football in 1896. The club became professional in 1898. They did not manage to promote to the First League until 1907.

The happy years (1907-1914)

Fulham started winning more and more matches with Andy Scott as manager. The club managed to win The Double in 1908 after not losing a match in the entire season. They therefore got the nickname "The Invicibles". With stars as Freddy Chapman, Jeffrey Doyle and Ronald Donaldson the club won the League Cup in 1909. When the First World War started, the Fulham players went to war, and sadly no-one survived. Fulham was relegated and they didnt get into the first level again until 1970.

The Seventies

In 1970, Fulham bought many stars from other big clubs, such as Gio Telito, Kasper Svendsen and Klaus Müller.
